Elizaveta Nesterova

I’m Elizaveta (Liza) Nesterova, a PhD student at the Technion, advised by Shay Moran and Yuval Filmus. Broadly, I am interested in the interaction between geometry and learning theory.

Previously, I worked in algebraic geometry. During my undergraduate studies, I worked with Sergey Gorchinskiy on topics involving unipotent modules and homological methods. Later, in my master’s studies, I worked with Howard Nuer on problems in birational geometry and Bridgeland stability of moduli spaces.
